Our practice has been providing a medical screening service to companies for over 15 years and we have developed an 'inside knowledge' of the pressures and strains an employee may be under in their job.
We offer independent and totally confidential advice on all aspects of physical and mental health care. We will screen individuals for all the major illnesses and will provide a full and detailed confidential medical report which is simple to understand and will include any recommendations such as lifestyle and dietary changes as well as including copies of all blood test and ECG results.
The health screening consists of the following:
- Lifestyle and health questionnaire
- Full medical consultation with a doctor and a clinical examination
- Height, weight, BMI, waist to hip body fat ratio
- Assessment for risk of cardiovascular diseases
- Resting ECG or Exercise ECG
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Urinalysis (pH, sugar, protein, blood)
- Lung function tests and peak flow
- Visual acuity test
- Hearing test
- Full blood profile
- Breast or testicular examination
- Cervical smear
- Mammogram
- Chest X-ray
We also have a 'fast track' referral system for consultations with leading specialists in the following fields:
- Radiology including CT and MRI scanning
